In the vibrant district of Fatih, Istanbul, Hilmi Efendi laid the foundation for our company as a local trading entity in 1916. Over the years, our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction set the stage for a remarkable journey.

In 1977, Cemalettin Efendi steered the company's course towards the metal trading sector and relocated to the Beykoz district, marking the beginning of a new chapter.

Jewellery Production and Expansion (1977-2003)

Returning to the Grand Bazaar district in 1977 under the guidance of Hilmi Bulunmaz, we ventured into jewelry production. This move not only demonstrated our adaptability but also laid the groundwork for the excellence that would define our future endeavors.

1982

The year 1982 saw a pivotal shift with the initiation of diamond tool production, marking the inception of a new era.

1987

By 1987, we achieved another milestone by successfully exporting our diamond tools for the first time.

Global Presence and Acquisitions (1992-2011)

Our debut in the prestigious Istanbul Jewelry Show in 1992 was a testament to our growing influence in the industry.

In 2003, a significant leap was made when we acquired a German diamond tool manufacturing company, bolstering our production capabilities.

Venturing into international markets, we established our first office in Kostroma, Russia, in 2006. The ensuing years saw our participation in major global jewelry exhibitions in cities such as Vicenza, Basel, Las Vegas, and Hong Kong, solidifying our position on the world stage.

2011

The acquisition of a Turkish machine manufacturing company in 2011, along with the integration of CNC machines for jewelry, marked a strategic move towards technological advancement.

Expanding Horizons (2015-2022)

Our commitment to global excellence continued with the opening of our first office in Asia, located in Penang, Malaysia, in 2015.

This laid the groundwork for Bulunmaz Asia, which commenced operations in 2018, with its headquarters based in Indonesia.
